Unifying Europe's fragmented health innovation ecosystems
HealthScale is a volunteer-led initiative to connect the health-innovation ecosystems across Europe, in order to:
- Connect and grow health innovation ecosystems across European markets
- Create pathways for start-ups to access EU-wide pilot sandboxes and partnerships
- Enable cross-border collaboration between investors, corporates, and universities
- Structured support for regulatory, reimbursement, and market access
Our members are founders scaling health companies in Europe, operators with deep domain expertise in regulatory, reimbursement, and hospital systems, investors active in European health innovation, and institutional partners building innovation ecosystems.
We are looking for founding contributors.
Establishing HealthScale as a credible European NGO takes more than a founding team. It takes people who know the terrain and are willing to put time into building the structure, the network, and the first programmes. If that is you, we want to talk.
Operators and domain experts
Regulatory, reimbursement, clinical, and commercial specialists who understand how health innovation actually reaches patients in Europe, and who can help define what HealthScale should do and how.
Founders and innovators
People building health companies who have lived the fragmentation first-hand and want a hand in designing the infrastructure they wish had existed.
Institutional and ecosystem partners
Hospital innovation offices, cluster organisations, government health bodies, accelerators, and investor groups open to helping convene and anchor the network.

People who can help with the practical work of standing up an NGO: governance, partnerships, early programme design, and operations.
Time and expertise matter more than titles. We are at the stage where early contributors genuinely shape what HealthScale becomes.

HealthSeed AG is convening HealthScale because the fragmentation it addresses is the same barrier our clients and ventures hit every day. We have a direct interest in a stronger European health innovation ecosystem, and we are willing to put founding effort behind one.
The intent is to build HealthScale as an independent, common-interest organisation rather than a HealthSeed marketing channel. HealthSeed provides the initial convening energy and operational support. The ecosystem it creates is meant to serve everyone in it.
